East Millsboro Elementary has begun work on a new "Wetlands Project". Planning began back in the fall of 2007, and excavation took place on Friday, May 30th, 2008. Planting day was held on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 with all students helping periodically during the day. Students were instructed to wear old clothes, sneakers, and sun screen in preparation for the day's activities. These plants have been growing in each classroom for the last few months.
